Welcome August! Here we are another month into summer. There’s some fantastic events happening over Brant County this month including some annual favourites which you don’t want to miss!

August 4th

Canadian Military Heritage Museum Annual Open House

What? Come to the museum and enjoy a day of military demonstrations, a free tour of the musuem, military vendors and military re-enactors. Door prizes, a Silent Auction, a Book Sale table, pipe band and much more will be available. Food and drink can be purchased throughout the day.

Brantford Kinsmen 10th Annual Ribfest

What? The Kinsmen Club of Brantford would like to extend a warm invitation for you to participate in our Brantford Kinsmen 10th Annual Ribfest. Freat musicians on stage, a range of tantalizing meaty delights from 5 of the best Ribbers from North America, plenty of fun activities for the kids- Brantford Kinsmen Annual Ribfest has all this and a lot more awaiting you this year.

When? Fri. Aug. 9, 4pm to 11pm; Sat. Aug. 10, 11am to 11pm; Sun. Aug. 11, 11am to 7pm

Paris Drinksfest

What? Spending two days drinking, eating and listening to great music under the trees in beautiful downtown Paris! There will be drink vendors, food trucks and restaurants, games, good times, and music from Whitehorse, Shakura S’Aida, Dwayne Gretzky, Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar, and more!

When? Friday, Aug. 16th, 6-10 pm; Saturday, Aug. 17th, 12-5 pm & 6-10 pm

Symphony Under The Stars with Brantford Community Symphony Orchestra

What? Bringing classical and a bit of contemporary music to the Homestead. Bring your lawn chair!

August 28th

Community Air Show

What?  The community has embraced the tradition of an Airshow the Wednesday prior to labour day, as a family-friendly summer activity for the whole family. The event has grown in size and proudly showcases military and civilian performers. The widely popular event raises funds for local charities through the Rotary Club of Brantford while entertaining spectators and showcasing the thrill of aviation.

160th Annual Paris Fair

What? Entertainment, Midway, Food, Livestock Shows and over 50 vendors – fun for the whole family!
