Canada Day Celebrations 2019
Happy long weekend! We made it! Now it’s time to celebrate. There are several activities going on this weekend to celebrate Canada Day. So, if you’re not one of many who will be making the trip up to the cottage this weekend, keep reading!
Brantford Navy & Sea Cadet Corps 4th Annual Car Show
On Saturday, June 29th from 3:30pm to dusk at Ben-Mar Family Fun Centre, help sponsor and support the local Navy League and Sea Cadets at their annual car show.
Big raffle prizes, door prizes, cars, trucks, bikes, race cars and prizes for kids! Past years on this weekend have brought in over 800 vehicles and that’s what they’re hoping for and more! They will have Navy and Sea cadets and staff there to help answer any questions anyone may have about this free program. Their goal this year is to help raise money to fix our leaky roof.
Party in the Park
Come on out for music, Alice’s food truck, Cotten Candy, inflatable obstacle course, Marco the clown , plus some special guests from princess parties, face paining and games at Donegal Park. This is a free community event & everyone is welcome. It will take place on Sunday, June 30th starting at 11 am.
Brantford’s Canada Day Celebration
Enjoy live music, entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks display on Monday, July 1st at the Lions Park/Steve Brown Sports Complex from 2:00pm-11:00pm.

- Campbell Amusements KidZone (12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
- FREE water refills from the Quench Buggy
- Food vendors
- Marketplace vendors
- Pony rides ($5.00)
- Sunrise Rotary beer tent
- On-site parking ($10.00 cash only – single entry)
- FREE transit shuttles (1:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.)
